Description
19" (48 cm.) Sculpted magnesit head with oil-painted hair and facial features, brown baby hair and brows, eyes modeled as though shut with painted lashes, closed mouth, cloth ring neck, heavily-weighted stockinette body with stitch-jointing at shoulders and loosely-attached legs to achieve infant-like body pose, knit baby suit. Condition: generally excellent, some light spotting on legs. Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1935, the "Traumerchen" model. Value Points: fine original condition of the "real weight" infant baby.
