Description
4" (10 cm.) Each is all-bisque with one-piece head and torso, blue glass inset eyes, closed mouth, painted features, original mohair wig, jointed arms and legs, the girls with painted white stockings and black shoes, and the boys with painted black boots. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1900. Value Points: the ensemble are wearing matching boy and girl mariner costumes, the girls with pleated striped skirts and tams, and the boys with striped shirts under button jackets.
