8" (20 cm.) Carved wooden swivel head with defined and tinted facial features, tiny eyes and closed mouth, muslin body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Chinese Door of Hope missionary project doll, circa 1920. Value Points: the doll is wearing original padded magenta silk brocade jacket over patterned green trousers and is enclosed in matching fabric bunting, with embroidered collar and headdress.
