Description
18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with rich sienna complexion, brown painted eyes, painted lower lashes, black brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with firmly-set accented lips, black mohair wig, sienna-complexioned composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1303 S&H Germany. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910, the smaller version of #118. Value Points: very fine quality of sculpting with fine character definition, original body and body finish, antique kidskin costume with beading.
