14" (36 cm.) Pale bisque shoulderhead with plump facial modeling, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, un-pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body jointing at hips, bisque arms to above the elbows, individually modeled slightly-cupped fingers, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, attributed to Barrois, circa 1865. Value Points: brilliant eyes beautifully contrast the pale complexion, rare body style with bisque arms.
