13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with amber-tinted complexion, painted black hair with feathered detailing around the forehead, small brown glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, short feathered angled brows, slightly-parted lips, two porcelain upper teeth, amber-tinted composition baby body, antique silk kimono. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Made in Germany JDK (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: rare variation of Kestner's 243 character with painted hair, slightly smaller eyes and mouth, wonderful expression.
