Description
5" (13 cm.) A wooden egg with hand-painted decorations depicting a bunny parade separated at the center to reveal hidden inside a little bisque jester with original blue and red jester costume hiding the spiral spring body; when the blue ribbon at the lower bottom of the egg is pulled, the doll pops up and down in jack-in-the-box style. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: for the French market, circa 1885. Value Points: delightful novelty toy is wonderfully-preserved.
