Each is all-composition with socket head, sculpted short brown curly hair, painted brown side-glancing eyes, painted upper lashes, single-stroke brows, tiny rosebud-shaped mouth, five-piece composition body. Condition: near mint. Marks: Alexander (doll) Dionne Quintuplets (name of doll) Exclusive Licensee Alexander Doll Co, N.Y. (tag on each doll). Comments: Alexander, Dionne Quintuplets, circa 1934, rare early edition of the dolls with unusual costume marking of "Exclusive licensee". Value Points: in pristine original condition, wearing original organdy dresses and bonnets, name-embroidered bib, slip, diaper, knit booties, each in original labeled box and with original wrist tag.
