5" (13 cm.) Bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, slightly-parted lips, row of tiny teeth, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 7 H 759 dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: beautiful child doll with sweet smile, splendid eyes, original body and body finish, along with all-bisque Kewpie with blonde painted forelock and top knot, blue wings, and with sewn-on silk cushion costume and bows.
