Description
31" (79 cm.) Golden mohair bunny posed seated on back haunches has over-size brown eyes, hand-painted details, and the name "Lindt" embroidered prominently on one side. With original over-sized Steiff button and yellow tag in ear. Excellent condition. Germany, late 1900s, the presentation of stuffed bunnies was a long-traditioned custom with Lindt chocolatiers, including bunnies from Steiff. This grand-sized example was designed as a special exhibition size for an important Lindt vendor, and is very rare to find.
