15" (38 cm.) All-composition, socket head, blue sleep eyes, lashes, open mouth, rich lips, row of teeth, brunette mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: very good. Comments: celebrity doll portraying the Canadian skater, Barbara Ann Scott, Reliable Dolls, circa 1940. Value Points: the doll is wearing her original spangled skating costume and cap, skates, and is preserved in original (worn) box base; included is Life Magazine of 1950 depicting on the cover a young girl skating with a Barbara Ann Scott doll in her arms.
