29" (74 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead of young boy with center-parted short black hair in deeply-sculpted comb marks and with double forelock curls, brown glass inset eyes, painted features, closed mouth, sculpted ears, muslin body, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent, some face rubs. Comments: Germany, circa 1859. Value Points: rare glass eyes and especially fine modeling of hair.
