21" (53 cm.) All-composition with socket head, sculpted short curly hair with forelock ringlets, blue sleep eyes, closed mouth in impish smile, five-piece toddler body, organdy pinafore with embroidered flowers, original socks and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Scootles, designed by Rose O'Neill. Cameo, circa 1935. Value Points: the grand size of beloved Scootles is virtually unknown, this example made rarer by sleep eyes, and having outstanding modeling of dimples and laughter lines.
