Description
12" (30 cm.) (excluding ears). Each is all cloth with pressed and painted facial features, blue side-glancing eyes (looking at each other), rosy cheeks, blonde yarn hair, pink flannel lined ears; she with yellow polka dot body under organdy and green felt flannel costume, black felt shoes with pom-pom, and green felt bonnet with lavish flowers; and he with blue polka dot body, one ear stitched down to accommodate his top hat, and wearing green flannel coat, blue trousers, white spats, and striped taffeta bow tie. He has original cloth tag "Madame Alexander New York", and she has original gold foil wrist tag. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Madame Alexander, 1941. Value Points: wonderfully imaginative details such as folded ear and eyes glancing at each other.
