Bisque socket head, brown painted eyes with pronounced white eye dots, black and red upper eyeliner, short-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, brunette mohair wig with coiled braids, plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 179 (head) Germany 0 1/2 (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1910. Value Points: wonderfully expressive face of the art character model with choicest bisque and painting, original body and body finish, antique cotton school dress and carrying little mohair Steiff pup and German tin lithographed lunch pail.
