14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, tiny blue glass sleep eyes, fringed upper curly lashes, one-stroke brows, tiny nose, closed mouth modeled as though open with shaded lips, smiling impish expression, laughter crinkles around the eyes, blonde mohair wig, composition baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1428 6. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine quality of modeling with deeply defined features, choice bisque, antique costume, carrying little Steiff lamb with original paper label and brass bell.
