Description
13" (33 cm.) Bisque head with untinted complexion that has painted jester-like decorations, painted blue eyes, closed mouth with impressed dimples, curly lambswool wig, excelsior-stuffed torso with internal musical device, wooden stick handle with whistle tip. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1895, when shaken, the jester emits a merry sound. Value Points: expressive features and painting, original lace and silk jester costume with bell tips.
