12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted blue eyes with black upper eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with very full lips, accent line between the lips, brunette mohair braided wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 536 1 (head) Germany 2/0 (body). Comments: Kley and Hahn, circa 1912. Value Points: endearing wistful expression, deeply impressed cheek dimples, very fine bisque and painting, original body and body finish, antique mariner style costume.
