12" (30 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with rich brown complexion, sculpted black short curly hair, intaglio brown side-glancing eyes with white eye dots, black painted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with beaming smile, full coral lips, brown composition toddler body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3 Heubach (sunburst) 7668 Germany (head) 7668 (original ink-lettered paper label on body). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: rare brown-complexioned character baby with superb sculpting of hair and features, rare original paper label on body suggests its original presentation as exhibition doll.
