Bisque socket head, large blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows with modeling detail and decorative glaze, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, impressed dimples at lip corners and chin, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing antique white-wear dress with lace trim, undergarments, stockings, shoes. Condition: generally excellent, body retouched. Marks: 1248 Germany Simon & Halbig S&H 17. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900, the model was registered in Germany in 1898. Value Points: likely the largest size of this model, the doll has entrancing large eyes and very fine bisque.
