Description
20" (51 cm.) All carved wood with one-piece head, torso and legs, the lower torso carved as though a skirt, one-piece arms carved as though beseeching with hands extended, sculpted short brown curly hair with combmarked details, enamel eyes, heavily-modeled eyelids, closed mouth. Condition: generally excellent, some wear to original wooden base. Comments: Neopolitan, late 1700s. Value Points: rare model with sculpted body and body skirt, wearing original burgundy gown with metallic trim, sculpted sandals on bare feet.
