Description
9" (23 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head with painted light brown baby hair and brows, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, chubby bisque torso, loop-jointed bent bisque arms and legs with expressive fingers and curled toes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: c.1924 E.I. Horsman Germany 38 (head) 38 (inside arms and legs). Comments: Tynie Babe, circa 1924, the model was offered by Horsman in various styles, size and materials. Value Points: largest size of the fretful-faced all-bisque has very fine modeling, wearing baby bib embroidered "Mein Herzerl" (my darling).
