31" (79 cm.) The firm-bodied goat is posed upon a sturdy wooden platform with cast iron wheels, and has stretched kidskin over face, green glass eyes, wooden hooves, horns, ears, and a very lavish shaggy grey/cream woolly coat, with very intricate woven saddle blanket. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1880, an extremely rare variation from the more popularly-found toy horses on wheeled platforms. Few examples of this model are known to exist.
