Description
10" (25 cm.) A firm-sided box with decorative paper covers has label on lid "Service de Table" and initials CBG, Paris. The box hinges open to reveal original well-fitted interior with red embossed paper lining and shelved arrangement, containing service for two in silver metal, and includes four plates, two cups and saucers, two goblets, two footed compotes, one double-handled footed bowl, two napkin rings, cutlery for two, two relish dishes, two knife rests, and four menu cards. Excellent condition. Original and never removed from original box. French, Cuperly, Blondel and Gerbeau, circa 1890.
