Description
20" (51 cm.) The cast bisque figures in grand exhibition size depict an aristocratic lady and gentleman in a playful seductive/coy scene; he posed as though beckoning to her, and she with head demurely bowed. The figures have superbly detailed costumes, coiffures and facial expressions, with hand-painted details. Excellent condition, he has an original small firing separation on base (visible beneath) and one restored finger. Germany, Dresden, mid-1800s.
