14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, almond-shaped brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, widely-arched brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, auburn mohair wig in long braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Simon & Halbig S&H 111. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912. Value Points: an extremely rare model with finest bisque and complexion, beautifully painted lips, original body and body finish, lovely antique costume, woven bonnet and market basket.
