Description
9" (23 cm.) Carved thick wooden shoulderhead with oval elongated face and throat, deeply carved black hair with painted scalloped curls around the face and extreme combmarks in both vertical and horizontal style, carved and painted facial features, blue eyes with black upper eyeliner, feathered brows, closed mouth. Excellent condition, some light rubs, one flake at side of hair. Germany, circa 1850.
