Description
14" (36 cm.) Solid domed wooden head with painted boyish hair in swirling forehead curls, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with downcast lips, composition upper and lower torso with cloth midriff containing (non-working) squeaker, composition arms and legs jointed at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1890. Value Points: the doll is wearing antique grey flannel uniform with red piping, undergarments, socks and shoes.
