Description
24" (61 cm.) l. 22"h. The carved wooden horse with slender elongated body has carved details of mouth and nose, glass eyes, brown/cream hide cover, painted wooden hooves, horsehair mane and tail, and is fitted with original leather brass-studded harness and saddle with metal stirrups. Excellent condition, hide is worn to pleasing patina. Germany, circa 1885, the smaller size is enhanced further by fine carving.
