21" (53 cm.) h. 22"l. The carved wooden horse with tan hide has large brown glass eyes, carved open mouth, leather ears, wooden hooves resting on cast iron wheels, with horsehair mane and tail, and having elaborate leather harness, and leather saddle with stirrups. Structurally excellent, some wear to hide. European, circa 1880, especially fine carving of details, fine leather work.
