14" (36 cm.) The wooden framed chaise a porteur (sedan chair) with bombe shaped roof and back wall has windows on each side wall and on the opening front door, and is covered with woven tapestry and edged with gilt braid; the interior is of aqua patterned silk and there are two original carrying handles. Excellent condition. French, circa 1880.
