16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head with heart-shaped face, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2033 BSW (in heart) 537 4. Comments: Bahr and Proschild for Bruno Schmidt, circa 1912, the model is known by collectors as "Wendy". Value Points: most enchanting expression, characterized by heart-shaped face, upturned nose, small eyes and full generous lips, wearing antique mariner costume and woven bonnet.
