Description
33" (84 cm.) l. 29"h. The carved wooden horse with brown and white hide coat, is posed as though prancing, upon a wooden platform with cast iron spoked wheels; the horse has glass eyes, carved nose and open mouth, horsehair mane and tail, and is fitted with leather saddle and harness, with stirrups and bridle clips. Structurally excellent, some wear to hide finish, teeth repainted. Germany, circa 1890.
