Description
4" (10 cm.) h. 4"w. shoulderplate. Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass enamel inset eyes with darker blue outer iris rims, painted lashes, feathered brows, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, pierced ears. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E 3 B. Comments: French, Barrois, circa 1865. Value Points: gentle expression enhanced by fine quality of bisque and painting, maker's signature.
