9" (23 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead of young black-complexioned pageboy, black sculpted tightly-curled short hair, enamel eyes, closed lips, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted dark green blue stockings and red slippers, wearing original costume comprising silk jacket and vest with gilt threading and silk harem pants. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
