Bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, thickly fringed brows, rose blushed eye shadow, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with delicately-shaded lips, pierced ears, dimpled chin, blonde mohair ringlet curled wig over Steiner pate, Steiner composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre A 17 (head) Le Petit Parisien Bebe J. Steiner Medaille d'Or Paris 1889 (body). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1889. Value Points: very beautiful bisque and painting, particular painting of brows lending a charming hesitant expression, original body with near mint condition, original Steiner costume, undergarments, leather shoes, stockings.
