Description
13" (33 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted long curly lashes, feathered brows, rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with modeled space between the outlined lips, double chin, blonde mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with very chubby torso and muscular limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 525 Germany K&H (in banner). Comments: Kley and Hahn, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine detail of modeling around the eyes and lip corners, finest bisque and painting, wonderful original body and body finish.
