Poured wax head coquettishly turned to the side, outlined blue painted eyes, brunette mohair wig under coronet with long embroidered lace veil, very slender elongated body with padded armature to allow stylish pose, posed on velvet-covered base. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, Medames Lafitte-Desirat, circa 1912, from a series of dolls illustrating contemporary fashion of the early 20th century. Value Points: the elegant lady wears ivory satin wedding ensemble with rhinestone accented embroidered tulle overskirt with pearl accents.
