Description
5" (13 cm.) x 3". A firm-covered book,with engraving on the corner depicting three men in native
costumes examining a map of the world,contains a fold-out folio with alphabet-labeled
pages,each page depicting a folklore-costumed person whose nationality begins with that letter.
The engravings have printed colors with hand-painted gouache detail. The cover is labeled
"Alphabeth Reise um die Welt". Good condition,spine loose,some spotting. A very beautiful
book,early-19th century.
