eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes and feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,ears pierced into head,brunette hand-tied human hair
wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing,shapely torso,stitched and
separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Au Paradis des Enfants Perreau Fils
156 Rue Rivoli (body stamp). Comments: French,circa 1867,although unsigned the doll has
the rare neck attachment of Alexandre Dehors which allows the head to tilt forward and back
and side to side as well as swivel. The doll was presented at the prestigious Parisian doll
shop,Au Paradis des Enfants,a testament to its quality. Value Points: very beautiful doll has
original wig,signed very sturdy body,and is wearing her original bronze green silk gown with
matching cape,undergarments,gloves,jewelry,leather shoes,and purse.
