13" (33 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead, light brown complexion, sculpted short black brushstroked hair with forelock curl, incised age lines, large enamel eyes, closed mouth, tinted beard stubble, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted black stockings and black thick shoes, wearing silk and velvet costume. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
