Description
14" (36 cm.) Margaret face model, non-walking body, small hands, dark brunette floss hair with braided coronet at her crown, hair drawn back at the sides and captured in a coiled chignon at her nape. Wearing red flannel plaid full-length dress with black velvet bodice overlaid by attached lace wrap, polished cotton petticoat and pantalets, socks, black side-snap shoes with silk bows. The dress is tagged "Louisa M. Alcott's Little Women Marme by Madame Alexander N.Y. USA All rights reserved". Near mint condition. Alexander, 1952, the doll has original Fashion Award medallion at her wrist and on the end of her original box, and with Little Women booklet and curler box.
