Description
2 1/2" (6 cm.) l. shoe. A wooden shoe contains "the old woman",made of bisque with sculpted
blue bonnet and painted features,along with her five black-haired porcelain children,the shoe
arranged upon a multi-layered felt cushion designed for use as pen-wiper. Excellent condition
of the charming nursery rhyme vignette. Circa 1880.
