Description
4" (10 cm.) cars. 6" base of station. An enchanting toy presents an inclined track on which two
lithographed tin cars are wending their way to the peak of the Alps; the lithography is
imaginatively-designed to appear as though on an include and passengers are seen gazing out
the windows. Included with pulley-like arrangement is the original track and frame; and the
original cardboard box in which the cars were sold. The cars are labeled "Alpenbahn" and Made
in Germany. Included is a petite ticket station with fine original painted and lithographed
finish,signed KB for Karl Bub. Excellent condition. Germany. 1930s.
