8" (20 cm.) The paper mache piglet, lavishly covered with pink curly mohair, has wooden feet, curly tail, painted pink nose, glass eyes, and removable head for access to candy container torso. The label of a French bon-bon shop in Nice is on the inside neck. Excellent condition. Circa 1890.
