17" (43 cm.) All-wooden hand-carved doll with socket head, painted facial features, shaded blue eyes, delicately painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with wistful expression, auburn mohair wig, elaborate articulation of multi-pose body includes swivel waist and wrists and dowel-jointing at hips, knees, shoulders and elbows. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sandreuter RS1 1996 c. (script letters) (and with original wrist label). Comments: Regina Sandreuter, 1996. Value Points: beautifully-grained woods enhance the artistic carving and painting of face, original studio costume.
