20" (51 cm.) All cloth doll with socket head, pressed and oil-painted face, shaded green/brown eyes, black and brown upper eyeliner, closed mouth, brunette human hair, stitch-jointed arms, disc-jointed legs, nicely costumed. Condition: very good, wig not original, costume may not be original. Marks: Kathe Kruse 42224 (left foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, Type VIII, circa 1935. Value Points: beautifully-preserved original finish and clean body.
