14" (36 cm.) Margaret face model, blonde floss wig with bangs, braided coronet at crown and curls at her nape captured under a black snood, non-walking body, small hands. Wearing light blue cotton dress with white pique pinafore front edged with embroidered organdy ruffle, pique cuffs, red silk bows at throat, cuffs and hair, red silk sash, polished cotton petticoat with blue embroidered hem, pantalets, socks, black side-snap shoes with silk bows. The costume is tagged "Louisa M Alcott's Little Women Meg by Madame Alexander, N.Y. USA All Rights Reserved". Near mint condition. Alexander, 1951.
