Bisque swivel head with rounded facial modeling and unusual V-defined shoulderplate cleft, defined eye sockets with downcast painted eyes, dark eyeliner, decorative glaze at lower eye edge, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, wooden body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles, swivel waist, lovely antique dress in modes-enfantine manner, undergarments, socks, ankle shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Medaille d'Argent Huret 22 Boulevard Montmartre Paris (stamp on torso). Comments: Adelaide Huret, circa 1860.
