Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) Each is all one-piece carved wood head, torso and legs, with oval face, elongated throat, shapely turning of legs with sculpted boots or shoes, jointed arms, and posed on attached wooden stands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, early 1800s. Value Points: five different variations of hair style with sculpted hair ornaments or hat, and each is wearing original theatrical costume. Private Collection of Marianne Cieslik.
